Students have access to Microsoft Office 365 through your Hinds Email account. This gives you online access to Word, Excel and Power Point as well as One Drive storage.
Office 365 is available to all Hinds employees and students. This package offers a variety of online productivity software such as Calendar, Mail, OneNote. Power Point, and Word.
OneNote: Take a quick note before you forget it. Share your meeting notes so everyone is on the same page. Organize all your class notes and ace that exam. OneNote is a digital notebook. Whether you’re at home, in school, or in the office, use OneNote to take notes wherever you go. And OneNote automatically saves and synchronizes your notes so you can focus on your thoughts and ideas.
Class Notebook: Part of OneNote, Class Notebook allows groups to create pages for each member and create collaboration spaces.

Calendar: Your calendar in Outlook Web App lets you create and track appointments and meetings. You can create multiple calendars, link to other people’s calendars, and even share your calendar with other people in your organization.
Sway: Create and share interactive reports, presentations, personal stories, and more.
Word: a graphical word processing program that users can type with.
Power Point: a complete presentation graphics package. It gives you everything you need to produce a professional-looking presentation.
Excel: an electronic spreadsheet. You can use it to organize your data into rows and columns. You can also use it to perform mathematical calculations quickly.
OneDrive: Cloud storage that provides you with access to your files and pictures from any location.
Forms: With Microsoft Forms, you can create surveys, quizzes, and polls, and easily see results as they come in. When you create a quiz or form, you can invite others to respond to it using any web browser, even on mobile devices. As results are submitted, you can use built-in analytics to evaluate responses. Form data, such as quiz results, can be easily exported to Excel for additional analysis or grading.
Planner: provides a hub for team members to create plans, organize and assign tasks to different users and to check updates on progress through dashboards. It also provides a centralized place where files can be shared and gives visibility to the whole team.
People: perhaps better known as Contacts, this app allows you to view people in your groups, as well as people on your calendar; favorites; and frequent contacts.
Tasks: similar to Planner, this app allows you to designate tasks to specific team members.
SharePoint: provides and easy way to share files and collaborate with others.
Delve: Use Delve to manage your Office 365 profile, and to discover and organize the information that's likely to be most interesting to you right now- across Office 365.
Newsfeed: Team sites and other kinds of SharePoint sites come with the SharePoint Newsfeed, which is a lot like a public blog or a microblog. You can use the SharePoint Newsfeed to start a conversation with people and to stay current with things other people post and share.
Yammer: Discuss ideas, share updates, and crowdsource answers from coworkers around the globe. Yammer gives your team a faster, smarter way to connect and collaborate across your company.
Power Apps: Use SharePoint lists, Outlook, OneDrive, and other Office 365 data to create apps.
Flow: a project management software that simplifies teamwork. Use it to plan projects, prioritize to-dos, delegate tasks and collaborate beautifully.
Stream: a new video service that uses the power of intelligent enterprise video to enable knowledge sharing, easier communication, and connectivity in a secure enterprise environment. Microsoft Stream is the successor to Office 365 Video
Teams: A chat-based workspace that integrates all the people, content, and tools your team needs to be more engaged and effective.
