Student IDs

  • An ID card is issued to each student as part of the registration process. 
  • Students are required to have and show a government issued photo ID to get a Hinds ID. 
  • No charge is made for the first card issued. 
  • The replacement cost for a lost, stolen, or missing ID card is $10. 
  • Students are required to get a new ID every August. 
  • The ID card must be surrendered to any College official upon request. 
  • The ID card serves the student in many ways and must me worn on a visible location of one's person at all times when on college property. 
  • Fines for not having a student ID visible begin at $50.

(First week of classes)
Monday - Thursday, 8:15 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.

Log into your My.Hinds account to view your Financial Aid Checklist, which outlines additional requirements. 

Once all paperwork is complete, your award letter will be posted in My.Hinds

You must be admitted to the college and enrolled in an applicable program of study before financial aid can be applied to your account. 

There is a representative available on the NAHC campus Tuesdays and Fridays from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. in Student Services.

District Financial Aid Offices in Raymond are open 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. each weekday and until 7:00 p.m. on Tuesdays.

Books may be charged to the bookstore for the first two (2) weeks of school only.

Grant and loan check disbursements will be sent to the recipient’s home by the HCC Office of Financial Aid. Watch campus bulletin boards for the exact dates that checks will be mailed. NOTE: Check with the Office of Admissions to be sure that your address is correct.
