Use this search box to search the physical holdings of the library (books, DVDs, etc).
Hinds CC offers a variety of databases for research. You may choose the database based upon the subject you are researching such as Business or Nursing. Using the indicated database, locate articles relevant to your topic. You may have to use one or more of the keywords or “see also” terms in order to narrow your search to articles relevant to your task. You may select specific databases here: https://libguides.hindscc.edu/az.php
You can search all of the databases at one time with the Discover@Hinds search box in the library page.
Now you will create a citation for the article that you found in the databases. Choose to do in either APA or MLA.
You can use the citation builder in the databases themselves (usually found as a quote button on the upper right corner of the article's landing page). Or you can build it yourself by using our citation guide for APA or MLA.
Be sure to check your formatting to make sure everything that should be in italics is in italics, that the citation is double spaced and that there is a hanging indent for the second and following lines.
